Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DuoGel is a combination pharmaceutical drug formulated as a syrup, primarily used for the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcers, and bloating. It works through a triple-action mechanism: domperidone acts as a prokinetic agent, enhancing the movement of the stomach and intestines; magaldrate functions as an antacid, neutralizing excessive stomach acid; and simethicone serves as an antiflatulent, reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles to facilitate their passage. This synergistic action provides comprehensive relief from symptoms such as nausea, stomach pain, irritation, heartburn, and gas. It is a prescription medicine and is typically taken orally.
