Overview

Duopiyin (also known as Duopi Yin) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically associated with the teachings of the renowned dermatologist Zhao Bingnan. The formula is primarily composed of various plant peels (pericarps or bark), such as Pericarpium Dictamni, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, and Pericarpium Mori, which are traditionally used to dispel wind and resolve dampness to treat skin ailments. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of chronic refractory urticaria, aiming to provide a therapeutic option for patients who are non-responsive to standard H1-antihistamine treatments.
