Drug intelligence / Profile preview
duraCAR-T71 is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Protheragen for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy is engineered to specifically target Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein that is frequently overexpressed in gastric, pancreatic, and esophageal cancers while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues. duraCAR-T71 utilizes Protheragen's proprietary 'duraCAR' platform, which aims to enhance the persistence and anti-tumor efficacy of the CAR-T cells within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.
