Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DuraGraft is a one-time intraoperative vascular graft treatment and preservation solution developed by Somahlution (acquired by Marizyme). It is designed to protect vascular grafts, such as the saphenous vein harvested during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), from oxidative stress and endothelial injury during the ischemic period between harvesting and revascularization. The solution contains a combination of active ingredients including L-glutathione, L-ascorbic acid, and L-arginine. It has received FDA De Novo clearance as a Class II medical device/solution for use in CABG and is being investigated for broader applications in organ transplant preservation (kidney, liver, and heart) and myocardial protection.
