Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Durvalumab + gemogenovatucel-T (Vigil) is a combination immunotherapy approach. Durvalumab is a PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor that blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptors, preventing tumor cells from evading immune detection. Gemogenovatucel-T (Vigil) is a triple-function autologous tumor cell immunotherapy that expresses granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and decreases expression of furin and downstream TGF-β1 and TGF-β2. This combination therapy aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses through complementary mechanisms.
