DW-3101 is an investigational botanical drug candidate developed by Daewon Pharmaceutical for the treatment of acute and chronic gastritis. The drug consists of a standardized extract of *Opuntia ficus-indica*, commonly known as prickly pear cactus. It is designed to protect the gastric mucosa and reduce inflammation in patients with gastric erosions. DW-3101 has been evaluated in a Phase 2a multicenter, randomized, double-blind clinical trial in South Korea to determine its safety and optimal therapeutic dosage (150 mg, 300 mg, or 600 mg) compared to placebo.
