Overview

DW16011 is an oral fixed-dose combination syrup used for the treatment of acute bronchitis. It contains three active pharmaceutical ingredients with distinct mechanisms of action: - Ammonium chloride (an expectorant) - Chlorpheniramine maleate (an antihistamine) - Dihydrocodeine tartrate (an antitussive/opioid cough suppressant) DW16011 is designed to relieve symptoms associated with acute bronchitis, such as cough and sputum production, by combining these agents to provide expectorant, antihistaminic, and antitussive effects. It has been studied both as a monotherapy and as a component of the combination product DW1601 (which also includes Pelargonium sidoides extract) in clinical trials for acute bronchitis. It is developed by Daewon Pharmaceutical.
