DWJ1445 is an investigational oral pharmaceutical product developed by Daewoong Pharmaceutical that appears to be a fixed-dose combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid formulated for bioequivalence comparison against another amoxicillin/clavulanate product, DWC202506, in healthy adults.[1][3][5][7][11] In a single-dose, randomized, open-label, two-period crossover bioequivalence study, pharmacokinetic parameters such as AUC and Cmax of both amoxicillin and clavulanic acid were evaluated to determine whether DWJ1445 matches the reference formulation under fasting conditions, with safety and tolerability assessed in parallel.[1][11] No additional target-specific mechanism beyond the established bactericidal activity of amoxicillin (a beta-lactam that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis) protected from degradation by clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) has been described at this stage.
