DX-101 is a live attenuated bacterial vaccine being developed by Delonix Bioworks for the prevention and treatment of *Staphylococcus aureus* (S. aureus) infections. Developed using the company's proprietary ProBVax platform, DX-101 consists of a genetically engineered, weakened bacterial strain designed to trigger a robust and broad-spectrum immune response against S. aureus. The vaccine aims to address the significant global health challenge posed by S. aureus, including antibiotic-resistant strains like MRSA. As of 2024, DX-101 is in the IND-enabling phase, representing the most advanced program in the Delonix Bioworks pipeline.
