Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DX-104 is a recombinant outer membrane vesicle (OMV) vaccine candidate developed by Delonix Bioworks (Shanghai Yuguan Biotech) for the prevention of invasive meningococcal disease caused by serogroup B *Neisseria meningitidis*. The vaccine is produced using the proprietary OMV Plus® platform, which utilizes genetically engineered bacteria to produce OMVs with optimized antigen presentation and enhanced immunogenicity. This platform is designed to be highly scalable and cost-effective, aiming to provide a more accessible alternative to existing MenB vaccines. DX-104 is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation to assess its safety and immunogenicity in healthy adults, with the licensed vaccine Bexsero serving as a positive control.
