Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DX-110 is an experimental vaccine candidate being developed by Delonix Bioworks for the prevention of tuberculosis. It utilizes the company's proprietary OMV Plus platform, which leverages engineered outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) derived from bacteria. These vesicles are designed to serve as a delivery system for antigens, aiming to elicit a robust and protective immune response against *Mycobacterium tuberculosis*. The OMV Plus technology is intended to improve upon traditional vaccine approaches by enhancing antigen presentation and providing natural adjuvant properties. As of early 2024, DX-110 is in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
