Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DXC008 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that targets both STEAP1 (Six-Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of Prostate 1) and PSMA (Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen). It combines a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets STEAP1 with a tubulysin B analog payload via a functional linker. It demonstrates high affinity for STEAP1 and moderate affinity for PSMA. The drug works by delivering the cytotoxic payload (tubulysin B analog) specifically to cancer cells expressing these targets, particularly prostate cancer cells. Preclinical studies have shown that DXC008 demonstrates high levels of activity against several prostate tumor cells in vitro and has shown very good persistent antitumor response in xenograft models.
