Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DXC009 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Hangzhou DAC Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The therapeutic candidate is designed to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a cell surface receptor that is highly and selectively expressed on malignant plasma cells. DXC009 consists of a BCMA-targeting monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic payload via a linker. Upon binding to BCMA on the cancer cell surface, the ADC is internalized, and the cytotoxic agent is released to induce apoptosis. This targeted approach aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity.
