DXC011 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Hangzhou DAC Biotechnology, specifically designed to target folate receptor alpha (FRα). It distinguishes itself from traditional ADCs by utilizing a dual-payload strategy, which involves the conjugation of two different cytotoxic agents to a single antibody. This approach is intended to enhance antitumor efficacy, broaden the therapeutic window, and potentially overcome resistance mechanisms that often limit the effectiveness of single-payload conjugates like mirvetuximab soravtansine. FRα is a well-validated target that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including ovarian, lung, and breast cancers, while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues.
