Overview

DXO-1804 is an investigational, discovery-stage, GalNAc-conjugated, liver-directed small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic being developed by Dexoligo Therapeutics for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD)-associated anemia. The program utilizes RNA interference (RNAi) technology to selectively and durably modulate the expression of an undisclosed target gene involved in pathways governing erythropoiesis, iron homeostasis, and renal disease-associated hematologic dysfunction. By leveraging hepatocyte-specific GalNAc delivery, DXO-1804 aims to achieve tissue-selective modulation of disease-relevant biology, potentially offering improved hematologic outcomes and addressing the limitations of existing therapies for CKD-associated anemia.
