Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DXP-008 is a bispecific antibody developed by Singlomics that simultaneously targets Interleukin-1 Receptor Accessory Protein (IL-1RAP) and Interleukin-17A/F (IL-17A and IL-17F). By binding to IL-1RAP, the drug inhibits signaling of the IL-1 superfamily, which includes IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-33, and IL-36 (α, β, and γ). Simultaneously, it neutralizes IL-17A and IL-17F. This "eight-in-one" mechanism of action is designed to provide broad anti-inflammatory activity by blocking eight distinct pro-inflammatory pathways. DXP-008 is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases.
