Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DynaGraft II is a bone graft substitute medical device composed of demineralized bone matrix (DBM) derived from donated human bone tissue, combined with a poloxamer-based reverse phase carrier medium. Developed by IsoTis OrthoBiologics (later acquired by Integra LifeSciences), it received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2005 for use in orthopedic and dental applications. The product is designed as a bone void filler that provides osteoinductive potential to stimulate new bone formation. Its unique reverse phase medium allows the material to be malleable at room temperature but thicken at body temperature, which helps contain the graft material at the surgical site during bone grafting procedures.
