Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dyno-hc9 (also known as Dyno bCap 1) is an AI-designed adeno-associated virus (AAV) capsid developed by Dyno Therapeutics. It is optimized for efficient gene delivery to the brain and central nervous system (CNS), offering improved transduction efficiency compared to standard AAV capsids such as AAV9. The technology enables widespread CNS delivery via intravenous injection, with significant liver detargeting and a mechanism for crossing the blood-brain barrier that is conserved between non-human primates and humans. This makes it a promising vector for next-generation gene therapies targeting neurological diseases[1].
