Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dynole-31-2 is a synthetic small-molecule tool compound used as a **negative control** for the dynamin inhibitor Dynole-34-2 in studies of clathrin-mediated endocytosis and dynamin function. It is built on the same chemical scaffold as Dynole-34-2 but lacks significant inhibitory activity against dynamin GTPase, allowing researchers to distinguish specific dynamin-dependent effects of Dynole-34-2 from scaffold-related or off-target effects in cellular assays. Dynole-31-2 is supplied for in vitro research use, typically dissolved in DMSO, and is not developed as a therapeutic agent.
