Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DYV800 is a preclinical-stage topical transdermal buffering agent developed by Dyve Biosciences in collaboration with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. It is a patented cream formulation containing 33% sodium bicarbonate, designed to neutralize the acidic tumor microenvironment (TME) of solid tumors. By increasing the extracellular pH (pHe) of the tumor, DYV800 aims to restore immune cell migration and activation, potentially enhancing the efficacy of concurrent cancer treatments such as immunotherapies. The drug utilizes Dyve's proprietary transdermal delivery platform to overcome the compliance and efficacy limitations associated with oral buffering agents.
