DZ-002 is an investigational drug conjugate developed by Da Zen Theranostics for the treatment of cancers, including solid tumors and lymphomas. The compound utilizes a patented light-emitting agent (MHI-148 dye–drug conjugate) that enables targeted delivery of anticancer drugs specifically to cancer cells, improving both tumor diagnosis and treatment. This imaging dye-drug conjugate illuminates tumor cells during surgery and enhances the accuracy of targeted chemotherapy. Developed in collaboration with Georgia State University, Emory University, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, DZ-002 is designed to improve survival rates and quality of life for cancer patients by delivering cytotoxic agents directly to malignant tissue while sparing healthy cells[1][2][4].
