Drug intelligence / Profile preview
E coli vaccine 3 is an investigational vaccine candidate developed by Pfizer to prevent infections caused by pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli. It is one of several candidates (including E coli vaccines 1, 2, 4, and 5) being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT07122986) to assess safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in healthy adults aged 18-64. The vaccine is composed of killed or partial bacterial components that are non-infectious and is administered via intramuscular injection on a two-dose schedule at 0 and 6 months.
