E-EDV-D682 + EDV-GC is a combination therapy comprising two investigational products: E-EDV-D682, which are EnGeneIC Dream Vector (EDV) nanocells targeted to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and loaded with the super-cytotoxic agent PNU-159682, and EDV-GC, which are non-targeted EDV nanocells carrying the immune-stimulating glycolipid α-galactosylceramide (GC). The combination aims to deliver chemotherapy directly to EGFR-expressing tumor cells while simultaneously stimulating the immune system via invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cell activation. This therapy is being developed and investigated primarily for metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), particularly in patients who have developed resistance to conventional chemotherapies[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
