Overview

E-mab is a monoclonal antibody developed by epitoMAP for the treatment of allergic diseases in both dogs and humans. It specifically targets the "closed" (non-pathogenic) form of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) expressed on the surface of IgE-producing B cells. By differentiating between the closed form and the pathogenic "open" form of IgE, E-mab enables the selective depletion or modulation of IgE-producing B cells without interfering with circulating IgE or other immune components. The drug is being positioned primarily as an allergy immunotherapeutic for dogs, leveraging conserved IgE regions to maintain cross-species applicability.
