Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The E-R-O Ear Wax Removal Kit is an over-the-counter (OTC) otic care system developed by CrossingWell (formerly Randob Labs) for the treatment of excessive earwax buildup, also known as cerumen impaction. The kit features a dual-action approach combining chemical softening and mechanical removal. The primary active ingredient is carbamide peroxide 6.5%, which acts as a cerumenolytic by releasing oxygen upon contact with earwax; this foaming action helps to loosen and break down the impaction. The kit also includes a bulb syringe for warm water irrigation and a specialized ear wax removal tool with a safety shield for physical extraction. The liquid drops are supplemented with soothing ingredients such as aloe barbadensis extract and chamomilla recutita (chamomile) flower extract. It is indicated for use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
