Drug intelligence / Profile preview
E7090 + rabeprazole is a combination investigational drug regimen. E7090 is an oral small molecule inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), developed for use as an anticancer agent, primarily in solid tumors with FGFR alterations. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces gastric acid secretion, used primarily for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, and related disorders[1]. In oncology trials, the addition of rabeprazole may be used to suppress gastric acid or mitigate gastrointestinal adverse events related to cytotoxic or targeted therapies. The combination may be used in clinical studies or treatment regimens where management of acid-related side effects is warranted. No specific fixed-dose combination product of E7090 + rabeprazole is approved, but the combination can be found as a regimen in early phase studies where acid suppression and FGFR inhibition are required.
