EA-114

EA-114 is a novel formulation of fulvestrant, a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) and antagonist, developed by Eagle Pharmaceuticals. It is specifically designed for the treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive (HR+) metastatic breast cancer. The drug functions by binding to and degrading the estrogen receptor, thereby inhibiting the hormonal signaling that drives tumor growth. EA-114 aims to optimize the dosing regimen of fulvestrant to provide a more personalized treatment approach and enhance receptor inhibition. It is being developed for use both as a monotherapy and in combination with CDK4/6 inhibitors, following the established clinical utility of the original fulvestrant formulation (Faslodex).
