EA-3571 is a small molecule, highly potent dual inhibitor of enteropeptidase and trypsin with luminal action. It is being developed for gastrointestinal and metabolic disorders, with potential anti-insulin resistance and fat-burning properties. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy in mouse models of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH)/nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). First-in-human phase 1 studies are underway to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy volunteers. The drug is being developed by EA Pharma Co., Ltd[1][2][4][9].
