Overview

EACODD-14 is a multi-agent chemotherapy regimen used primarily for the treatment of classical Hodgkin lymphoma, particularly in early unfavorable and advanced stages. The regimen consists of six cycles (or more, depending on response) administered every 14 days (dose-dense schedule). The components of EACODD-14 are etoposide, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, dacarbazine, and dexamethasone. This protocol is a modification of established regimens to intensify therapy while maintaining tolerability. It is often combined with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor support (such as empegfilgrastim) to reduce the risk of neutropenia and infection during intensive chemotherapy[1][2][4][6]. Clinical studies have shown high rates of complete metabolic response and remission in patients with advanced-stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma treated with this protocol[4][6].
