Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EasySix is a fully liquid hexavalent vaccine developed by Panacea Biotec, designed to protect infants against six major childhood diseases: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whole-cell), Hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), and Polio (Inactivated Polio Vaccine - IPV). As a fully liquid formulation, it eliminates the need for reconstitution, thereby reducing the risk of contamination and administration errors while simplifying the vaccination process for healthcare providers. The vaccine is the result of a significant collaboration between Panacea Biotec and the Serum Institute of India (SII), aimed at addressing global shortages of IPV-containing vaccines and meeting the high demand in international markets. It is typically administered as a primary series in infants to ensure broad-spectrum protection during early development.
