Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EB-103 is a small molecule drug candidate developed by Elastin Biosciences, currently in the IND-enabling phase for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Developed using a proprietary cheminformatics platform, EB-103 is designed to restore tissue structural integrity by boosting the production of elastin and strengthening the elastin-based extracellular matrix. This approach aims to address conditions characterized by elastin degradation, particularly within the cardiovascular system. As of early 2024, the candidate has completed proof-of-concept studies and is undergoing IND-enabling activities to support future clinical trials.
