Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EB-104 is a small molecule drug candidate developed by Elastin Biosciences, currently in the IND-enabling phase for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Identified through a cheminformatics-based platform, EB-104 is designed to restore the structural integrity of tissues by boosting the production of elastin and fortifying the elastin-based extracellular matrix. The therapeutic approach focuses on reversing or halting the degradation of elastin, a critical component for the elasticity and resilience of cardiovascular tissues. As of early 2024, EB-104 has successfully completed proof-of-concept studies.
