EB-373 is a proprietary next-generation small-molecule prodrug of psilocin developed by Enveric Biosciences. It is designed as a novel neuroplastogenic therapeutic for the treatment of anxiety disorders and other mental health conditions such as depression and addiction. Developed using Enveric’s Psybrary drug discovery platform, EB-373 incorporates metabolically amenable functional groups to alter absorption and pharmacokinetics compared to traditional psilocybin or psilocin. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that orally administered EB-373 rapidly converts to active psilocin in vivo, resulting in dose-dependent induction of characteristic serotonergic responses (e.g., head twitch response in mice) and robust anxiolytic effects in animal models such as the Marble Burying Test.
