EB-DART-NK01 is an allogeneic, dual-targeting chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by Beijing Biotech for the treatment of relapsed or refractory small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The therapy utilizes NK cells engineered to express CARs targeting two tumor-associated antigens: Delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3) and Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (CD56/NCAM1). DLL3 is a notch ligand inhibitor highly expressed in SCLC but minimally in normal tissues, while CD56 is a glycoprotein involved in cell-cell adhesion often found on neuroendocrine tumors. By targeting both antigens, EB-DART-NK01 aims to enhance tumor recognition and overcome antigen escape. As an allogeneic product, it offers the potential for "off-the-shelf" availability and a reduced risk of graft-versus-host disease compared to T-cell therapies.
