EB-DNK102 is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by Beijing Biotech. It is engineered to dual-target Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) and Mucin 1 (MUC1), two antigens frequently overexpressed in solid tumors, particularly pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). By utilizing a dual-recognition CAR construct, EB-DNK102 aims to enhance tumor specificity and overcome antigen escape, a common challenge in single-target cell therapies. As an allogeneic "off-the-shelf" product, it is derived from healthy donor cells, potentially offering logistical advantages over autologous therapies. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with unresectable or metastatic PDAC, typically following lymphodepleting chemotherapy to facilitate cell expansion and persistence.
