EB-DT-NK-UC101 is an allogeneic, cord-blood-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy engineered to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) targeting both Nectin-4 and Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). Developed by Beijing Biotech, this dual-targeting approach is designed to enhance anti-tumor activity and mitigate antigen escape in patients with advanced urothelial carcinoma, where both antigens are frequently overexpressed. The cell product incorporates an inducible caspase-9 (iCasp9) safety switch, allowing for the rapid elimination of the CAR-NK cells in the event of severe toxicity. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for relapsed or refractory locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma following lymphodepleting chemotherapy.
