Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EB-SELECT Single-Target CAR-NK Cells is an investigational allogeneic, donor-derived chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by Essen Biotech. This cell-based immunotherapy involves genetically modifying NK cells from healthy donors to express a single CAR construct. The specific target antigen is selected for each patient based on tumor profiling via tissue or liquid biopsy, allowing for a personalized approach to treating various advanced solid tumors. The therapy is currently being evaluated in the Phase 1/2 SELECT-CAR-NK clinical trial for indications including breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, ovarian cancer, glioblastoma, melanoma, and liver cancer.
