Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EB064 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD38, developed by Beijing Dongfang Baitai Biotechnology for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, specifically multiple myeloma. CD38 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly and uniformly expressed on the surface of multiple myeloma cells, making it an ideal therapeutic target. EB064 works by binding to CD38 and inducing tumor cell death through several immune-mediated mechanisms, including antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP). It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China to determine its safety, tolerability, and efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic cancers.
