Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EB201 is an autologous CD19-redirected T-cell therapy being developed by Estrella Immunopharma for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The therapy utilizes the proprietary ARTEMIS technology platform, licensed from Eureka Therapeutics, which is designed to target and deplete CD19-positive B-cells. Unlike traditional chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells, the ARTEMIS platform employs a cellular mechanism that more closely mimics endogenous T-cell receptor (TCR) activation and regulation, potentially offering improved safety and efficacy profiles by reducing over-activation. EB201 is currently in preclinical development, aiming to address the underlying B-cell-mediated pathology of autoimmune diseases.
