Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**EB612** is an investigational, proprietary oral long-acting parathyroid hormone 1-34 analog being co-developed by Entera Bio and OPKO Health as peptide-replacement therapy for hypoparathyroidism. Formulated as an oral tablet using Entera Bio's N-Tab peptide-delivery platform, EB612 is intended to activate the parathyroid hormone 1 receptor and replace deficient PTH activity, thereby increasing serum calcium and reducing serum phosphate. The current long-acting EB612 program has generated preclinical evidence of sustained systemic exposure and calcium elevation following oral dosing, supporting a potential once-daily treatment approach.
