**EBAG9 siRNA** is a small interfering RNA molecule specifically designed to silence the expression of the estrogen receptor-binding fragment-associated antigen 9 (EBAG9) gene. EBAG9 is a tumor-associated antigen implicated in promoting immune evasion and tumor progression, partly by inhibiting cytolytic enzyme release from cytotoxic T lymphocytes and impairing anti-tumor immune responses[2][3][4][5].\nMechanistically, EBAG9 siRNA binds to complementary EBAG9 mRNA sequences, recruiting the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), which subsequently degrades the target mRNA, resulting in decreased EBAG9 protein production[1][7].\nPreclinical studies show that EBAG9 siRNA therapy enhances cytotoxic T cell (CTL) activity, Th1 cytokine production, CD8+ T cell infiltration in tumors, and improves lysis of hematopoietic and solid tumor cells, while also prolonging survival in murine models. EBAG9 siRNA may be used alone or as part of adoptive T cell therapies (e.g., CAR-T cells) to amplify anti-tumor immune responses[2][4].
