EBI-01

EBI-01 is an immune cell therapy developed by Therabest, INC. for the treatment of severe atopic dermatitis. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical development. The therapy utilizes the EBI-H platform, which involves the mass culture of immunocytes engineered to secrete factors that regulate the immune system and chronic inflammation. Preclinical studies have shown that EBI-01 reduces Th2-originated inflammatory cytokines such as Interleukin-4 (IL-4), Interleukin-5 (IL-5), Interleukin-13 (IL-13), Interleukin-25 (IL-25), and Interleukin-33 (IL-33), as well as mast cell Immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels, leading to significant improvement in skin damage in animal models of atopic dermatitis.
