Overview

EBNK-001 is an investigational allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Essen Biotech for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The therapy utilizes donor-derived NK cells that are administered to patients following a lymphodepletion regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide and fludarabine. To enhance the persistence and anti-tumor activity of the infused cells, the treatment is supported by low-dose interleukin-15 (IL-15). EBNK-001 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials both as a monotherapy and in combination with the PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab to leverage synergistic immune activation against various solid malignancies.
