Overview

EBNK-1822H2 is an allogeneic, cord blood-derived chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by Beijing Biotech. It is engineered to simultaneously target two tumor-associated antigens: Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) and Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). This dual-targeting approach is designed to enhance anti-tumor activity and mitigate antigen escape in solid tumors, specifically esophageal adenocarcinoma. As an allogeneic product, it is intended for off-the-shelf use. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with relapsed, refractory, or metastatic esophageal adenocarcinoma.
