Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ebola broadly neutralizing antibody cocktail (also known as IBT-T02) is a combination of two broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibodies, FVM04 and CA45, designed for the treatment and prevention of Ebolavirus disease. The cocktail targets highly conserved, non-overlapping epitopes on the Ebolavirus glycoprotein (GP), providing broad-spectrum protection against multiple pathogenic species of the genus *Orthoebolavirus*, including Ebola virus (EBOV), Sudan virus (SUDV), and Bundibugyo virus (BDBV). Developed by Eliteimmune in collaboration with Integrated Biotherapeutics and Emergent BioSolutions, the cocktail has demonstrated complete protection and therapeutic efficacy in various animal models, including mice, guinea pigs, ferrets, and non-human primates. It is currently in preclinical development, with Phase 1 clinical trial preparations underway.
