Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ebola virus-like particle vaccine + Advax is a vaccine candidate developed by Vaxine for the prevention of Ebola virus disease. The vaccine utilizes virus-like particle (VLP) technology to display Ebola virus antigens, mimicking the structure of the virus without being infectious. It is adjuvanted with Advax, Vaxine's proprietary adjuvant based on delta-inulin, which enhances the immune response by activating both the humoral (antibody) and cellular (T-cell) arms of the immune system. This combination is designed to provide robust and long-lasting protection against Ebola virus infection. The project is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
