Overview

**EBOV-548** is a human monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of Ebola virus disease (EVD). It exhibits broad reactivity against glycoproteins (GP) from multiple ebolavirus species, including Zaire ebolavirus (EBOV), Bundibugyo ebolavirus (BDBV), and Sudan ebolavirus (SUDV), and demonstrates neutralizing activity specifically against EBOV and BDBV. The antibody recognizes intact but not cleaved GP, contributing to its antiviral mechanism by preventing viral entry. It has been studied in combination cocktails, such as with EBOV-520, where it shows synergistic neutralization and therapeutic protection in EBOV-challenged rhesus macaques, highlighting its potential as part of pan-ebolavirus immunotherapies.[1][5][8]
