EBV-targeted TCR-T is an investigational T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Shenzhen Innovation Immunotechnology. This cell therapy involves the genetic modification of T cells to express specific T-cell receptors (TCRs) that recognize and bind to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) viral antigens presented on the surface of tumor cells. By targeting these viral proteins, the engineered T cells can specifically identify and eliminate EBV-positive malignant cells while sparing healthy tissue that does not express the viral antigens. This approach is primarily aimed at treating EBV-associated malignancies, which include nasopharyngeal carcinoma, certain types of Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and other EBV-positive solid tumors. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
