EBViNT cell is an autologous adoptive T-cell therapy designed for the treatment of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive malignancies, particularly relapsed or refractory NK/T-cell lymphoma. The therapy involves isolating and expanding a patient's own CD8+ T cells that are specific to the EBV latent membrane protein 2A (LMP2A) antigen. These cells are then infused back into the patient to target and kill EBV-infected tumor cells. Clinical studies have shown that single infusions of EBViNT are well tolerated and can induce objective antitumor responses in patients who have failed standard treatments[1][2][3][4]. The mechanism of action relies on the cytotoxic activity of LMP2A-specific CD8+ T cells against malignant cells expressing this viral antigen.
