Overview
**EC 2 mg kit for radiopharmaceutical preparation** is an Izotop cold kit containing ethylene-dicysteine for in situ radiolabelling with sodium pertechnetate containing technetium-99m. The resulting **99mTc-EC** injection is a diagnostic SPECT radiotracer used for renal tubular functional imaging, dynamic renal studies, and camera renography. The supplied kit does not itself contain radionuclide; following preparation, the radiolabelled tracer is administered intravenously and its renal handling enables imaging-based assessment of kidney function.
